The Basement

You walk down some old, wooden and creaky stairs. The basement is made of concrete and is dark. You wander around in it. There's about 30 white shelves full of items that their owner's had abandoned. It was the Shelves of Shattered Dreams. A mystifying glow catches your eye and makes you turn around. There's a cave entrance. You walk into it. Soon enough, you see a bright pool shimmering with starlight. There is a pile of thousands of new and unused plastic cups beside you. To receive a prophecy from Arteen, you must use one of the cups, get some of the water in it, and drink it. You look around again. Will you take something (or put something) on the Shelves of Shattered Dreams, or will you drink from the Starry Pool of Arteen?
